Didn't mean to, but clicked the purchase button for track 3, which isn't even a song right now. It's 8 seconds of white noise. I'm not upset that I purchased it because I probably would have anyway, but will I be able to download the actual song free when it is released now that I've purchased it?

I'm having the exact same problem, but for me it just auto downloaded because I preordered the album but it won't even download Welcome to New York even though it's available.
Hey guys I had this problem and found a simple fix. Go to your account and cancel the pre-order. Then go back into the iTunes store and click pre-order your edition of 1989 and the song downloaded just perfectly 🙂

I still have the problem. I didn't pre-order the album I just accidentally bought the song thinking I was buying the actual one that was released. I go to my account but can't just cancel the preorder because I haven't preordered it!
