Yosemete upgrade: lost my notes (!)

hello,

I upgraded to Yosemite, everything works well, BUT I lost all my notes (app is simply an empty page, no previous notes to search/open)

I had read many techniques and ideas to fix lost notes using time machine, but all infos are about Maverick or other OSX, I dont find the same folders and/or files when I go into my library (saved into time machine HD) to look for the files to restore/copy...

Is there anyone that has same problem and found a solution?

thanks a lot!!!

This is where mine are.

User/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Core Data/External Records/C571FE8D-DB21-438E-AA58-16DD5901A331/Note/_records - Yosemite

Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder.

thank a lot Eric, I'have followed your infos, but no way to restore my notes.

I've seen other folders and tryed (also without using time machine but looking for files into the backup HD) but no way...

I think this is a stupid bug... I have made a backup (with time machine) before upgrade to yosemite but that was not enough, next time I'll be more smart...

thank again
