Forgot iPhone 4 password, for restoring itunes prompts updating to iOS 7.1.2 (which is already on) & then it doesn't finish update or restore. I did try to restore it in recovery mode too, but it's the same scenario.
Is there any way to skip this false update, directly restore the phone, or any other solution for factory reset?
P.S. I do have the back ups.
