    Hello,

    I have temporarily solution.

First of all, i have 3 Microsoft Exchange server. One mailbox server, one Cas server and one Hub Transport server. Mailbox and Cas servers version number is 14.3 and Hub Transport server 14.1.

EWS service was running on CAS server and yosemite mail app client cannot connect and cannot sync to exchange. But when i change client settings to other server (Hub Transport server version 14.1), everything ok.

Yes its not right solution but it's will save time for me.

And now, I'm investigating the differences between them.

10.10.1 Beta has been released to the development group.  Amongst other things it addresses (including WifI) Exchange with Mail issues are also a focus.  I've been running the build since Tuesday and the issue appears to have been resolved.  I get my emails as fast, if not faster through Mail than through Outlook.  Looks like relief is on its way!

Not so fast. I have the beta update and I'm still not seeing all the Exchange mail. The Today view shows some (but not all), the Inbox shows nothing now, and the Sent folder seems to be up to date as well as the Draft box. Even the Trash folder seems to be up to date.

Same! Have updated to 10.10.1 today and it has not fixed my Mail problems with O365 Exchange. Messages still marked as unread after I have read them, emails that are moved to folders or deleted reappearing in the inbox and message body often takes up to 30 seconds to download after the new mail notification has been shown and the message appears in the inbox. Can't believe what a screw up Mail in Yosemite has been! Have lodged 3 feedbacks with Apple on these issues and expected it to be fixed in 10.10.1. Just not good enough for business users.

AND now in 10.10.1 items marked as Junk in the inbox don't have the "Not Junk" button appearing sometimes! This was working okay before this latest update.

I have been using microsoft office on my Mac Book Pro and I hate it so i wanted to start using mail and it won't work

Try turning off Wifi and unplugging your network cable. Then configure the settings for your exchange server manually. Quit your mail app, hook back up your network cable and/or turn back on Wifi. Launch the mail app.

I have found that the autocofigure system doesn't always work and this bypasses it.

I solved it in that I completely removed the Exchange account, rebooted, activated it again in system preferences, after which iCal would not sync at all. Then I activated the same account from iCal (which initially behaved as if the account did not exist, but then seemed to remember in that it showed exactly the choice of apps I had made in system preferences), and ever since it works fine. Both mail and calendar. Kind of strange, but anyway...

I have had the same issues with "empty emails" for a long time (also before Yosemite) and have found no other cure for this than restarting Mail or moving the mail from the inbox to some other folder and that usually helps as well. Not happy with it, but it is possible to live with such an error as it appears relatively seldom.

But, after upgrading to Yosemite, I have expreienced that a couple of Exchange mails simply does not appear in my Inbox. I can see them in Webmail and on my iPhones mail app. This is a much bigger issue to me and I hope they fix it soon. It doesn't seem that 10.10.1 is helping anything either, so I just now tried to rebuild the account from the Menu "Mailbox - Rebuild" (hope that is correct - I am using Norwegian language, so this could be something else in English). This did it for me - the "missing mails" appeared as they should now.

The only thing that still worries me is that this could happen again and you simply do not notice it before you start looking for mails that you are expecting or told that have been sent to you and are missing from the Inbox. This is scary, so I hope Apple will fix it. Otherwise I have to return to Outlook which I really will wait as long as possible to do.

I have the same exact problem - the inbox going unpredictably out of sync with the server and Mail on my iPhone. Does anyone have a fix for this?

I just upgraded to yosemite and now my exchange email account won't sync.  I get the error "The server returned the error: Connections to host mail.xxxx.com on the default ports failed".  My mac mini on mavericks works fine and has the exact same settings.  I have tried changing the servers, ports, e.t.c. to no avail.   I have tried deleting the account and setting it back.  I have unchecked auto discover.

Any help would be appreciated, this is so frustrating.

I now have to check my email on my iPhone and iPad which all work fine.

    Mike

    Hi guys, how are ya'll?

having this weird issue with the exchange server.

it worked great and then stopped just in the middle of the day.

    why weird?

new installation, new OS X Yos 10.10.1 and 2 diffirrent computers are connected via this address, while the macbook having trouble with the account, the iMac standing next to it is working fine.

(tried to open a new user on MBP, still the same problem)

Have any ideas how is it possible and what should i check?
