My iPhone 6 isn't showing up in Image Capture. I wouldn't care but the app launching every time I plug the phone in is driving me crazy. But to stop that from happening I need to select my device from the list on the left in the app -- only it's not there. Running Yosemite 10.10. Any ideas as to what to do? Thanks!

I had the same problem. I've fixed it by hard reseting my iPhone 6. (Simultaneously hold Power & Home button until you see Apple logo appear onscreen.)

Try a different lightening cable. Otherwise try cleaning the lightening socket on the iPhone (with it turned off) - sometimes one dodgy contact can affect Image Capture and Photos.
