My iphone 6 front facing camera is out of line. Will apple replace it?

If you are still within the warranty period and can show the issue to someone in the apple store they should either offer a free repair or replacement. You will need to book a genius appointment at your local apple store.

Please let us know how you get on. I've got the same problem. Noticed it earlier and the OCD in me is killing me!

Other people have reported they took their new iPhone 6 in with the front facing camera not being centered and it was replaced. Make an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and show it to them. If they think there's a defect, they'll replace it.

Yes this is so aggravating, every time I look at my front facing camera I think that it is lint.

I expect more from my $700 dollar phone, I just hope I don't have to replace it as much as I did my iPhone 5

Instead of looking at it take it back as previously suggested.

My 14 day return period is over, will they still replace it?

Yes, of course. If it's a manufacturing defect. You have a full year warranty on your new phone.

What was the outcome?

Iv just noticed exactly the same imperfection on my iPhone 6 Grey 128gb 😟

Iv booked it in at the Apple shop for this coming Saturday and im a bit concerned that they might give me a refurbished one rather than a new one 😟.

There are no other imperfections (E.g dust under the screen as some people have noticed) on the phone, so it would suck to get one of these when the front camera is the only issue with this one that iv had 1 month and paid £700 for. :/

I first noticed this a few weeks ago. Great to see others have problem and have gotten it fixed. I will be headed to local Apple Store tomorrow.

Frankly, it doesn't seem to affect the pictures but visually its annoying and psychologically its bothersome and hints at a future full failure.

I'll try to follow up here with how it went at AS.

Same thing is happening to me.. I have an appointment on Monday. Hopefully they'll replace it

I just got back from Apple store... At first they said they've saw it before and that it was because my screen protector wasn't straight... So I took this off, then it was still there... They checked it again and said it was normal, when compared to another iphone 6 in store it appeared to be same/similar to 2/3 phones I looked at... This must be a common problem and i'll attempt again when something else happens or if this gets worse...

Got back from the store today. They replaced my phone with no hassle at all. Hopefully this one won't have the same problem
