How Can I Increase Volume of Song in Garageband?

I am a newbie to Garageband, and am trying to create a short promo with music and a voice over. I have done both tracks, and everything sounds fine. When I Share the promo to iTunes, the volume is too low. I have adjusted the Volume slider for the Master Track, and in Preferences, Advanced have checked Export projects at full loudness. No matter how I change the slider, the volume in iTunes comes out the same, and it is lower than I want it to be. I know I can go to Options in iTunes and raise the volume some, create a new mp3 version of it, etc., but not sure it will be enough. Is there something else I can do in Garageband so that when I share it to iTunes it is louder?

Check the GarageBand Preferences in the "Advanced" panel.

If "Auto Normalise" is not set, try, if enabling it will increase the loudness of your song.
If "Auto Normalise" is set, try if unchecking it will help.

None of those seemed to make any difference. What I did discover, it that iTunes seems to muffle the sound of the promo while I am wearing headphones. When I took the headphones off, the volume seemed fine. Guess I should have tried that prior to posting the question, but did not realize that would happen.
