Dec 19, 2014 2:29 PM in response to y34rz3r0by 8ball011,Still having issues with the Nvida graphic cards and Yosemite, after updating both CUDA driver and Nvidia drivers to the latest version. The CUDA preference window in System Pref. does not show need update in red anymore. That issue seems fixed by NVIDIA.
But a lass it still didn't fix other issues. FYI I had no graphic issues before updating to Yosemite.
Ran CUDA-Z again, still says not running CUDA. My Premier Pro CC however is working and sees CUDA.
My issues still are in other apps. like Safari. (see JPEG below) When a Safari browser is open, the page jumps and sometime blinks or freezes from one image to another, but if I use Firefox's browser I don't have this graphic issues. Or if I move Safari window to my cheap NEC monitor no problems.
Also in the Finder, when opening a folder from the desktop the transition from opening jumps, not it typical smooth transition and the content in the open window tends to be jumbled. (see attached JPEG).
Anyone have any idea of what is going on?

-(2) NVIDIA Mac Quadro 4000 cards.
FYI, running (2) monitors a small cheap NEC, and Apple LED Cinema Display.

Dec 22, 2014 4:08 AM in response to 8ball011by Visual Brother,The Update Required had disappeared but today there was a new update so updated to Cuda 6.5.33 and the latest GPU driver 10.1.43 (343.02.01f01) and guess what? The bloody update required notice is back... blah

Dec 24, 2014 9:30 AM in response to vtonangiby lucidmotions,The "Update Required" can be eliminated under Cuda 6.5.33 / 10.1.43 (343.02.01f01) - running on a Mac3,1/GTX660Ti - by editing your info.plist file inside
Frameworks>CUDA.Frameworks>Versions>A>Resources>info.plist
by adding:
<key>343.02.01</key>
<string>343.02.01</string>
-> SAVE -> Reboot
double check if CUDA is running via TERMINAL:
kextstat | grep -i cuda
"Update Required" eliminated.

Jul 8, 2015 3:09 PM in response to lucidmotionsby filthy D,So I'm getting the same bizarre message after updating to CUDA Driver Version: 7.0.36. In system preferences it's telling me there is a new driver available yet the version it's referring to is 6.5.51!!! When I open Premiere Pro 2015 it tells me there is no CUDA present. What the heck is going on? Using an NVIDIA Quadro FX 4800 card on a 2010, MacPro, 10.10.4
When I install the CUDA 6.5.51 driver I get this,

Sep 16, 2015 2:18 AM in response to filthy Dby John Caradimas,It seems to me that Nvidia's installation procedure is messed up. I had CUDA version 7.0.36 installed and when I went to the CUDA Preferences, it told me there is a new driver version. I clicked on the Install CUDA Update button and it downloaded version 6.5.51!!! Then I went to their web page with all the CUDA drivers and found version 7.0.64 for Mac, which I downloaded and installed. Guess what? The CUDA Preferences window tells me that there is a CUDA Driver Update 6.5.51!!!! But it doesn't show the red letters saying "Update Required"
Interesting how it keeps suggesting 6.5.51 when the latest version is 7.0.64!!!
Oh yes, I am using a MacPro 1,1 with Yosemite and a 8800GT card.

Oct 20, 2015 6:35 AM in response to vtonangiby MacPoloz,Hello, I'm new to here and In a bit of a hurry, so i've quickly glanced over this thread whilst doing some research,
Ive a Mac 3,1 with GTX285 ,osx10.10.5 and after updating to Cuda driver 7, and rebooting it tells me there is an update available and it takes back to 6.5.51.
Well from my quick research I'm suggesting that the compute capability of my GTx285 is not supported in the newer versions so it returns to Cuda driver 6.5 as my last supported drivers, I've noticed some of you have GT8800 and Quadro 4000, (are they different to the newer K4000?) with this issue.. any way Hope I may have helped
and appologies if I've missed this info in previous posts, I'm on a deadline..
Hers a link to the charts on the Compute capbility

Thanks
