Q: iOS 8.1 still has  Bluetooth issue with mazda

Yes, still pathetic Apple don't seem to be looking at this.  If I was working and needed to make lots of calls I would get rid of the iPhone!

The best I can tell the problem still persists on at least Mazda, Honda and Mitsubishi as of 8.1.2.

8.1.3 is here! No bluetooth issues were addressed according to the patch notes, and I can confirm the problem persists on iPhone 6 running 8.1.3 on my 2009 Mazda and 2013 Honda.  Everything works fine except outgoing calls.

Same problem here with my 2012 mazda 3 works fine for receiving calls and music even Siri works through Bluetooth system but need to manually change outgoing calls on phone.  Thats the reason I brought the car with Bluetooth connectivity

This problem has been going on for too long it needs to be fixed before someone has an accident and get seriously hurt

I've heard some people wouldn't update their phones because of this problem

Heres a thought... How about you just stay off your phone while you're driving...

I Don't use the phone for outgoing calls when I'm driving I make the call before I take off and make sure that it is connected before I start the car

I was commenting on another post I had read where someone had said that's what they do

It doesnt change the fact that it needs to be addressed

Wow one more Mazda Cx-9 2011 owner same issue here it used to work b4 iOS7 (I can't remember).. Incoming fine , outgoing just doesn't work! that cause serious trouble as it take eyes off the road and find the setting and click on Mazda from IPhone using BlueTooth, funny thing , If you were to make a phone call using other app such as Viber it works well on same setting...

Apple Must look @ this ! ..

See the 7th bullet under Bug Fixes.  It seems that finally, after 6 months of handling other "higher priority" issues like ringtones and emoji, they've decided to fix this bug.  To me, this was the only bug/missing feature since iPhone 3G that ever made me seriously consider switching to Android.

I hope that means our issue is resolved..

But overall I do not have any other issue or complain with iOS or iPhone as of now (3gs,5, & now iphone 6 love it) , sure new

features are welcome overall very well satisfied with their offering wouldn't want to move to Android ..

Finally, after 6 months, Apple has fixed this bug in iOS 8.2.  I confirmed outgoing calls are now routing properly through my car.

Solved - iOS 8.2 fixed my problem with outgoing calls (Mazda 6, 2011).

I just got my 2015 Mazda6 yesterday and found that outgoing call is fine but still can't receive any call when I connected my phone to the car via bluetooth........-_-"    When my friend call me, it automatically drop the line...................

That's strange, I never had any problems with incoming calls on any of the iOS8 versions, but I have read about a wide range of problems with bluetooth and iOS8 in general, so I'm sure someone else out there is in the same boat.

Yep my issue resolved few days ago for outgoing after latest upgrade 8.2 + ip6 .. , I agree I also never had any other issue incoming.. try resetting networking and bluetooth and pair it again.. Good luck..
