Q: Mute ringer switchiphone 6

i purchased a new iPhone 6 and was disappointed in 10 minutes when the mute and ringer switch failed to toggle positions. This is a hardware defect and the company should find an immediate resolution.

In your situation, I would recommend starting with the section on "Buttons and Switches" and if those suggestions are unsuccessful, then the section "Issue not resolved".

the piece was defective and had to be replaced with a new iPhone 6.
