Can't be part of the family because I already am?

I went to set up Family Sharing. Added kids okay, but when I went to add myself (my husband is the organizer), I couldn't accept the invitation because it says, "You are already part of this family. Go back to iCloud settings and tap on Family to review your family settings." I did that. It shows that I didn't accept the invitation-which I can't, because I'm not part of the family!! I don't have my own Apple ID, and I deleted my email off my husbands account (as a rescue email) so I'm really not sure what's up. Can someone help me?

Problem resolved!

The phone that I was sending the invite to was already logged into the account that sent the invite.

In the past, to have the equivalent of Family Sharing was to put your AppleID on all family devices. That was my case. I had not logged out of my wife's phone before I invited her with her own AppleID. Once I logged out, and logged in as herself, the invitation showed up and it was able to be accepted.

The error message is not that clear, and no information on apple.com, but this was my solution!
