Jan 5, 2015 4:46 AM in response to jasonfromwest new yorkby Freddes15,I activated the ICloud photo library on my new IPhone 6 and it only partially uploaded the 1600 pictures I have on my phone...
It has now been 4 days the transfer is on-going, and I am stuck at the stage of having 1230 pictures left to be transferred.
Why releasing a Beta version and not providing any assistance to debug ???

Jan 5, 2015 1:49 PM in response to JFM67by azsharom,Literally, *days*.
And it has not completed - despite saying that it would 'work in the background' to do so.
I give up. :-(
The best part? I upgraded to 200GB storage because at one point, iCloud said I didn't have enough space to upload all my photos.
Have not seen the light of day on this one...

Jan 7, 2015 12:40 PM in response to azsharomby lvc,Same here. I've done all I can remember.
My ipad has none of the pictures that I took with my iPhone for probably a couple of months.
the phone is stuck at uploading 2210 photos and the number increases as I take more pictures.
this is a nightmare.

Jan 8, 2015 8:54 PM in response to jasonfromwest new yorkby Turner.Martin,Have the same problem!
My iPhone says 'Uploading 581 Items"
My iPad says 'Updating...'
And the Photos "app" on iCloud.com says 'Updated at 1:54 AM' <- That's right now
Any solutions? C'mon Apple!

Jan 10, 2015 7:16 AM in response to JFM67by iMakrap,Read all the article, but...where is the solution? Delete all the pics? didn't work for me!

Jan 10, 2015 7:32 AM in response to iMakrapby JFM67,You have to disable iCloud Photo Library, then delete the remaining picts from the device with Image Capture them make sure the library is empty then re-enable iCloud Photo Library and wait for the process to finish download the lib to your device. will take many hours depending of your internet speed.

Jan 10, 2015 4:38 PM in response to JFM67by azsharom,In image capture there is a cloud logo next to my iPhone name in the left menu bar.
Also when I select all the photos 'delete' is grayed out from the menu bar.
So I cannot delete the photos.
Any ideas?

Jan 10, 2015 5:44 PM in response to azsharomby JFM67,Simple: because iCloud Photo Library (beta) has not been disabled on the device. You have to disable it first. Once this is done, the cloud icon will disappear and you'll be able to select remaining photos and delete them from your device.

Jan 10, 2015 10:31 PM in response to JFM67by azsharom,Well, tried it all - but does not work. Really wish I knew why this works for some and not others.
I just hope Apple can get their act together and get iCloud Photo out of Beta soon and that it actually works then.
Words cannot describe the frustration and disappointment I feel right now.
I know... "It's Beta".

Jan 10, 2015 11:00 PM in response to azsharomby Freddes15,I turned on and off the library a few times, and after a few tries it finally worked.
Try to do that while you phone is plugged to electric supply and connected to Wifi : this is apparently required for synchronization
Good luck
