Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that these types of iTunes alerts can be very frustrating. The com.apple.Outlook.client.exe is a process that syncs the device with Outlook (see link below).
iTunes for Windows: Background processes installed on Windows XP, Vista, and 7
What I would suggest in this situation would be to remove iTunes and its components from your computer in the correct order and install it fresh from the Apple website. Please use the following article for instructions on how to uninstall iTunes.
Cheers,
Joe

Oct 27, 2014 8:02 AM in response to joe_7399by sclny,I tried this uninstall/re-install procedures twice but to no avail. Curiously, this message only pops up when I navigate from the iPhone device icon and the Apps icon. If I stay on the Summary icon, it appears to work fine.
Very strange.
