Mac OS XThen you can store up to 5GB on your iCloud Drive. You can purchase more space by paying a monthly service fee. See -> iCloud Drive FAQ.
Good luck,

Oct 22, 2014 3:52 AM in response to njquintanaby Ninja53427,iCloud practically transfers the files between devices of your own. If a backup of these files are needed, I recommend that you go to a computer shop and buy a decent sized external drive.
Good luck.

Mac OS XUse something such as OmniDiskSweeper (my favorite) or Grand Perspective to find out where large files may be. iCloud isn't going to help much if you've so much data that it won't fit on a 1TB drive. Sounds as if it's time to either buy another drive or at least an external with more space.
Good luck,

Mac OS XOh, you can use iCloud Drive now for any documents - it should be on the top of the sidebar in any Finder window.
