Combine albums in iTunes 12

Combine albums in iTunes 12

In the last version of iTunes you could combine albums. I used Get Info to do this. But it seems that this doesn't work anymore. Someone knows how to get this working again? thanks!!

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

I assume you mean you can make a compilation of individual songs? That's still possible, but this feature has been moved from the options-tab to the bottom of the details-tab.

The problem is that track numbers no longer can be edited. For example, I like to take music that is on multiple CDs and make a single album from them--especially for long works like operas.
