Back to my Mac problems under Yosemite

Since updating to Yosemite a couple of days ago my B2myMac feature has stopped functioning. It is activated in the Sharing Preferences and I didn't change anything on the router settings. In the iCloud settings it says (in french): that B2myMac doesn't work properly because the DNS server doesn't respond _ that I should contact my ISP in order to get a new DNS server address

I am accessing Internet via a Fritzbox router and everything worked just fin under Mavericks

iMac (27-inch Late 2009), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

Worked most of the day yesterday, BTMM works very about 30% of the time. Most of the time remote macs only show if on the local network. Even if a WAN Mac is in the Finder shared list you can only connect about 50% of the time. I installed Chrome Remote Desktop works really well. No Port Forwarding required. , does not require or use UPnP. Just sign in to your google account once. When Apple get Yosemite fixed I will switch back.

Google doesn't accomplish what I need regarding remote connections. I discovered my shared Mac can be connected via BTMM if I open a new Finder window. The shared Mac may take a couple of minutes to appear in the Sidebar, but when it does, BTMM connections are successful. Subsequent connections require closing the previous Finder window, opening a new Finder window and waiting a couple of minutes for the shared Mac to appear in the Sidebar. I reported this quirkiness to Apple.

I was having this problem as well. I could connect to another Mac on my LAN at work, but I couldn't connect to, or even see, my Mac at Home. I also couldn't connect to or see either Mac at work from home. Perhaps it's just coincidence, and it seems weird, or maybe Apple made some change on their end, but after updating the home Mac and 1 of the work Macs to Safari 8.0.2, I noticed that the work Mac is showing up in the finder and I can connect to it for file and screen sharing. I still don't see the other Mac at work that has not yet been updated to Safari 8.0.2. This is only one successful session, and it's possible it may not be working again tomorrow, but right now it seems to be working for the first time since upgrading to Yosemite.

Yosemite has been 10.10.1 on all systems involved since shortly after it was released.

I'm not sure about the Safari 8.0.2 connection, because my BTMM was working before I updated Safari. With my setup, there are still BTMM behavioral differences since updating from Mavericks to Yosemite (plus 10.10.1 update). The BTMM shared Mac takes longer to appear in the Sidebar (sometime 2 or 3 minutes), but once a connection is made, Finder tasks on the shared Mac are much faster than before.
