Hello everybody,
I am using a Canon Pixma MP600.
App Store is telling me to search for a driver at the company and Canon doesn't offer one for Yosemite yet - they mention an OS Update with drivers.
Any ideas what to do?
I hope Apple is fixing that issue soon with an update for printing drivers!

i have had to down grade driver to 5.2.3 i can then get it to print 1 sheet. After this i have to remove power cable reattach then print next sheet very annoying.

No good. There is no Yosomite driver listed for the Cannon Pixma MP600
Ok try to find a cannon driver that is supported by Yosemite even if it isn't for your exact printer. The basic print commands are usually similar enough that you can use basic functions of your printer but if it has some special features they might not work.

Here is the link to another Pixma (not your model) but it has drivers for Yosemite. Try installing this printers drivers and then selecting them when you add your printer and see if you get some functionality.

Installing the Yosemite drivers for the other Pixma model did not work for my MP600. However, I did install the 10.7 drivers and that has enabled me to PRINT successfully from Yosemite to the Canon Pixma MP600. However I have not attempted the scanner drivers. Canon support led me to believe I could get the printer working this way but unlikely the scanner. If anyone is able to scan with the 10.7 drivers, please let us know.
I successfully downloaded and installed the driver for the Canon MP560 and then added the MP600 to use the MP560 driver and was able to print. I have not tried scanning, but that was never an issue as there is a program called VueScan that will allow it to work.

This fix work for Yosemite. Have searched the entire web and this is the ony fix that works!
