Oct 22, 2014 12:26 PM in response to MLaeeqby Lawrence Finch,I'l try to make it clearer: YOU CANNOT PAIR AN IPHONE WITH ANY OTHER COMPUTING DEVICE (PC, MAC, IPAD, IPHONE, ANDROID...). IT ISN'T DESIGNED TO DO THAT. It should pair with your car and with handsfree devices. THAT'S IT. Here is the list of supported BlueTooth profiles: iOS: Supported Bluetooth profiles
There are services that use BlueTooth, but they don't require pairing. See this for more details: Bluetooth: Why can't I pair my iPhone or iPad with my computer?

Oct 22, 2014 8:15 PM in response to nick101by podad1,I am having problems as well after 8.1 update,my headset will not stay connected for more than 5 min and on 8.0 it worked great. I have tried all the trouble shooting so just going to forget device reset settings again and wait a day or 2 and see what happens.

Oct 23, 2014 7:01 AM in response to MLaeeqby MLaeeq,So i was able to test it out in another car and it seems to work. Then i came back and tried to sync with my car and it was able to connect.. this is strange. One thing i learned is that the BMW manual has instructions to reset your bluetooth which is wrong. The steps might be right but you don't really get a notification that it has been reset

That was why I recommended that you contact the BMW dealer for assistance. Glad it appears that you have it working.
