Hey, guys I have a question about sound that comes from my macbook pro retina late 2013. I bought macbook in April 2014. At start i didn't hear no sound, but now i can hear it every time when I power on device. Does anybody know what is that sound? Is that normal sound?

I think it's the fan...
Mine does the same (retina macbook pro mid 14, 13 inch). I received mine two days ago, and as I recall it, it didn't do this cracking sound the first two days. Got any clues as to whether this is normal or if the fan is somehow defect?
It's the fan spinning up. Apparently that sound is normal for these models. Some people have said they only hear this noise when on Yosemite but they did not while on Mavericks. I think this 'issue' should be addressed.
Yes finally I have exactly the same! I have it for a month now, it came with yosemite and just from today it makes this sound, exactly the same as you show in your YT video. I only have it at boot up, not wake or even restart, so I figured it would be the fans. Any help?
