Has anyone had this issue with CUPS-PDF after update to Yosemite?

More details please. Are you saving to pdf or printing a pdf? If you are printing a pdf, what printer are you using? Are there any message in /var/log/cups/error_log in /Utilities/Console? Why do mention cups-pdf?

Hi, I have this issue too.

It looks like a sandbox issue : In the system log, I can read, just after trying to print something, with no file created (cups-pdf is intended to create a PDF file) :

I tried to uninstall and re-install several times, changed configuration (where to create the PDF files), chmod 777 folders and executables, reseted PRAM and SMC… no effect. Did not made the permission check yet.

This cups-pdf developer needs to make sure that the cups-pdf script isn't resetting the TMPDIR environment variable, and that any temporary files it creates are using TMPDIR. This is probably a result of Yosemite security changes, and you should contact the driver manufacturer.

I had the same problem. I downloaded PDFWriter and it works just like CUPS-PDF did before upgrading. I came across your post while looking for a solution. I hope this helps you!

cups-pdf seems to have an issue with CUPS's sandboxing. You may try other solution, like http://onflapp.wordpress.com/vipriser/

It´s important for me to print a couple of Copies in the PDF-File... With CUPS it was easy to print more copies in one file -> PDF Writer and other just put only one copy of the document in the output-file.
