Yosemite Not Installing

After downloading and supposedly installing Yosemite, it still says 10.9.5 in About This Mac. Help?

It sounds as though Yosemite may have downloaded but not installed. Please use the information in the attached article to help you install Yosemite.
How to install OS X Yosemite on your Mac
If you want to install at a later time, close the Installer window. When you're ready, you can find the Yosemite installer app in your Applications folder or Launchpad. Open the app to begin installing.
