not getting an update for the full version
my MacBooks running the latest beta version of yosemite and i am not getting an update for the full version!
ideas please?

If you have done all the updates with the beta version of OS X Yosemite, then you have the latest and final build of OS X that everyone else would have download when it was officially released to the public for download. Check the build number with the first article below to verify that you do. If you do not have the right build number then I would suggest that you download OS X Yosemite from the Mac App Store and go through with that install.
