Yosemite Zoom Freezes in Fullscreen

Hi I am visually impaired and have been using Yosemite for a while now and have noticed that the screen freezes when I am zoomed in and moving around in fullscreen. This never happened before with Mavericks.

Any ideas why this may be happening or how to fix it?

I would appreciate it greatly.
