OX Yosemite Internet Problem

I downloaded OX Yosemite today (October 22nd) and ever since the download I'm not able to access any means of internet and I'm connected to wifi. My other computer connects to the internet just fine as well as my iPhone without any problems. The other accounts on this mac can also access the internet when logged in, but the account that I downloaded Yosemite from can't access the internet at all. That includes the iTunes Store, App Store, the Twitter app, and even iCloud. A simple google search in Chrome and Safari for "google drive" can't even be completed without a "failed to connect to internet" message popping up. Any suggestions would be great because everything was running extremely smooth on Mavericks. Thanks. The mac that I'm using is less than a year old with a TB worth of memory and 8gigs of RAM.

Hi ..

MIght be corrupted network preferences as a result of the Yosemite upgrade.

Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder

Type or copy paste the following:

/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration

Click Go then move all the files in the SystemConfiguration folder to the Trash.

Restart your Mac.

See if that makes a difference.

Your Mac will generate a new SystemConfiguration folder for you.
