Nov 9, 2014 9:23 PM in response to Forgewireby Gagan0123,Well, I have MBA late 2013 model, and your resolution does not give me even a temporary solution.
Even though am used to trackpad, but using a mouse while working gives me more speed and due to this problem I now need to carry a charger everywhere I go. The only reason I bought MBA was its battery backup and carrying the charger is now making me wonder why I made that choice

I just had to restore the Mavericks OS from the time machine

Nov 24, 2014 2:56 PM in response to Breadman86by MSteckmeister,I have the problem of "jumping" scroll (seems to only receive/digest mouse data every second and not continuously) with Magic Mouse on iMac Late 2012 with Yosemite 10.10.1. Restart etc. helps, but only for some time. Problem occurs often after wake-up from standby (which by itself now seems to have problems because it sometimes takes very long and falls asleep while trying to wake up).

Dec 10, 2014 6:49 AM in response to MSteckmeisterby ziondotcom,I'm on a late 2013 rMBP 15 with dual external displays but the rMBP closed. The magic mouse is often sluggish after a wake. I have resorted to turning off BT, then turning it back on (via a usb mouse) which does correct the problem. I suspect it's related to waking up. I wonder if handoff is involved as overtime I 'wake the computer', I'm also nearby with my iPhone.

Jan 7, 2015 4:51 PM in response to Gagan0123by bridgesense,I'm still having sluggish mouse problems in 10.10.1. Just realized this post was for Magic Mouse.

Jan 15, 2015 11:16 AM in response to Breadman86by OGionline,I had the same issues with my external Magic Trackpad on MacBook Air with external Display. I figured out that, when turning off FileVault on Yosemite my trackpad works fine. With FileVault turned on it is not useable the most time. Maybe its the same issue with the MagicMouse? I don't have one so i can't test it.

Jan 16, 2015 4:28 PM in response to Breadman86by Smokerz, isoproyl alcohol to the terminals for battery connection and the optic lens. Also cpu overload and kicking in turbo boost can do it.

Feb 4, 2015 3:54 PM in response to colinw9by chaseforfeit,Hey all - I've never posted, but wanted to put my knowledge into this thread because I deal with this extremely terrible problem every day.
I'm a designer, and leave my MBP closed (clam shell mode) while hooked to a Cinema Display / Thunderbolt Display.
When I bought the MBP Retina, I started experiencing this problem. I escalated the problem as far up Apple's tech chain as I could go. They were anything but helpful - I had to continuously call them to further the case.
The issue, we discovered, is a flaw in the physical design of the newer machines. The Bluetooth takes interference from incoming Wi-Fi signals. The worst cases of this will be seen when the laptop is closed (MBP, MBA) as the two transmitters / receivers are closest.
Apple fixed this problem with software, and for over a year I had no issues - until Yosemite. I've done all of the tricks, and only get short bursts of good performance out of the Magic Mouse and Keyboard.
The most frustrating thing is that if you call Apple, they pretend to have never heard of this issue - but there are thousands of documented cases (their own and just out on Google). I believe this to be a waiting game until these models come to pass. Sadly, I am not convinced that software will solve this problem fully - nor will any reset, battery adjustment, or wasting your day talking to AppleCare. PM me if you'd like more info. This has been my most discouraging experience with the company after only holding Apple in high praise since 1998 when I got my first machine.

Feb 11, 2015 11:43 AM in response to Breadman86by AutoLink,I've found that wireless mice can be surface sensitive. One thing to try is using a mouse pad, or , if already using one, try a different mouse pad.
I was using a non apple wireless mouse and everything was fine until I spilled coffee on the desk pad which the mouse was on. I wiped up the coffee with a towel, and there was no visible coffee remaining, but the mouse became very hesitant and jerky. I tried a number of things, including other wireless mice and turning off all of the wireless radios in the office without success. (A wired mouse did work well.) Finally, I cleaned the desk pad surface with a wet rag, dried it, and the problem was fixed.

Feb 11, 2015 11:46 AM in response to AutoLinkby chaseforfeit,This unfortunately doesn't apply to the larger issue. I travel for design work, work on multiple desks / surfaces, etc. The only time I experience the issue is when using a tethered MBP Retina machine. We own dozens of Magic Mouse (Magic..Mice?) and Keyboards - same issue across all on Yosemite.
Now, all machines that are the previous model MBP work GREAT with these peripherals - never a problem with interruption or jitter. Never disconnect.

Feb 11, 2015 1:35 PM in response to chaseforfeitby AutoLink, chaseforfeit,
Why don't you just use another kind of mouse? I've had good luck with Rapoo, and even $15 generic Walmart mice, but not with Logitech.
