My wife has an iBook g4 1.2 that shows white color really white, what is it? how can i fix it? a powerbook is supposed to have a better display than an ibook, and not only that, my computer is newer, is much more expensive. Hi

It may be that something is not working at it should. It might be the backlight for the screen, the colour settings may have got changed, or the screen has gone.
Does everything look 'yellow' if it is it might be that the backlight is not working at full efficiency and is actually producing the yellow cast.
Have you checked the colour profile for your display is it the right one? If you change it to another profile does that have a yellow cast as well?
If you have the right colour profile loaded and it looks yellow and changing the profile has no effect on the yellow cast. Then it may be the backlight or the screen is faulty, in either case I would say it's contact Apple time sorry.
