My eMac is burning up the fuse as soon as I plug it in.

I opened my emac to clean it up and also because it wasn't turning on, I found out that the fuse was blown and had a little blue peace loose, I don't know how is called but is right next to the fuse. I welded back and assembled again but still burns the fuse. What do I have to check for in order to fix it.

Various sites I've looked on suggest that there may be a short in the system. Make sure everything's wired correctly and there are no loose wires etc.

If the fuse is on the left I think you might have the newer eMac which means I might not be able to help you out by poking at my own system. I'm away from Moby Dick (my eMac) right now so as soon as I catch that whale I'll let you know if there are any similarities in the system to double check your wiring, if you want.
