ios 8/8.1 can't answer phone calls keeps vibrating

I will explain what happends:

My phone recieves a phone call normal or mobile, its starts ringing and vibrating i slide to answer call, but when i do that it keeps vibrating and the ringtone continues repeating. When that happends i listen if the iphone accepted the call but it didnt, i get all the options: hang-up, speaker, dail keys, ect.. if the othere side hangs up the iphone keeps repeating. so i need to force it to shutdown or to restart.. after that the problem is fixed for a short time.

This happen under iphone 6, ios 8, ios 8.0.1, ios 8.0.2, ios 8.1

p.s. tested it with and without sharing my ipad 3 for receving phone calls

I have this issue too on an iPhone 5.

I've restored the phone once and it's still go the same problem. I did test it after I'd restored it to factory settings with no customizations. Once I'd sync'ed it, the old behaviour is back.

When a call comes in, I try to answer it and it looks like it's answered but it keeps vibrating while showing it's connected. If you get an answer, please do post it.

I said I'd come back with an answer if I found it... took me a while.

It was due to corrupted ringtone files which were showing 0 bytes on my computer, but had been synced to the iphone regardless. That was it. I removed those files and replaced them with earlier backups, good as new.

Hey, I have this same problem. And also when I try to call. I call to someone else and we can not hear each other. I've been unable to turn on the speaker as well!

Could you explain me how to fix it?? =DD
