It is not really clear exactly what you are trying to accomplish with your Time Capsule but I will give it a shot.


If you are trying to extend and existing AirPort network wirelessly, use the steps in this article -


Wi-Fi base stations: Setting up and configuring an extended wireless network (802.11n)


Note that while the article is titled for using 802.11n base stations, the same information applies to more recent Time Capsule models.


If you are trying to join your Time Capsule to a network that is not using an Apple base station, you can use it as a wireless client, but it will not extend your network. Use the steps in this article -


AirPort Express: How to join an existing Wi-Fi network in client mode


Again while the article is originally for the AirPort Express, the Time Capsule will do the same things.
