Q: Can’t create the file “shapeimage_10.png.” The disk may be damaged or full, or you may not have sufficient access privileges.

Quitting and restarting iWeb, or restarting your computer will usually help with this issue.

Otherwise check to make sure your computer has enough disk space on it to export the web site.

I have the same problem--Quitting and restarting has not helped.  And I have over 500 GBs of space

Try the following:

1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your

     User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.

2 - delete the contents of the User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder

3 - launch iWeb and try again.

NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

 

If you're running Mavericks or Yosemite  go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:

Not necessarily.  You need to find the item/image that is creating that shape imgage and fix it.  It could be a frame around an image, a box around a text box.  If you can find the file in an older publication of the site check to see what it is and then maybe you can eliminate what's causing it.

Check the original image file used to make sure there are no special characters or spaces in the file name.

If you know what page the shape image is on create a new, replacement page from scratch.  When done, delete the old page or move it down to a newly created site to hold for a while.
