iOS 8.1 reboot problem + iPhone 5s

hello,

after updating to ios 8.1 over my wifi my phone tries to restart during the update (like normal) however after the apple logo is on the screen for approximately 1 min I get a random half blue screen then a black one then it happens all over again. I have connected my phone to my Mac to do a restore and it is still doing it. Are there any other suggestions? If this problem can't be fixed I will look into getting a different type of phone as this is a huge hassel.
