iPhone 6 screen went to grayscale without switching button in accessiblity. How do you go back to color screen?

Went to answer my phone and it was on grayscale. Checked Accessibility button and it was not switched on. Now screen is stuck on grayscale. How do I get back to color screen?

You may want to try force closing all open apps and resetting the device as an initial troubleshooting step. Take a look at the articles below for more information.

Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset


If the issue persists, you may want to take a look at the Accessiblity settings in iTunes.

  1. Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to any computer with iTunes installed.
  2. In iTunes, select your device.
  3. From the Summary pane, click Configure Universal Access in the Options section at the bottom.
  4. Select the feature you would like to use and click OK.
