Question: spotlight thunderbird os 10.10
Why doesn't Spotlight in OS 10.10 show Thunderbird messages, despite my putting that in Thunderbird preferences? Spotlight in OS 10.9 did show Thunderbird messages.

Why isn't Spotlight for Mac OS X Yosemite searching for messages in my email client, Thunderbird? Thunderbird preferences is enabled for "Allow Spotlight to search messages," as it was with Mac OS X Mavericks, but Spotlight did indeed search Thunderbird messages with Mac OS X Mavericks. Incidentally, my old email messages, which I brought over from my former Mac and which are in the Apple Mail application, are being searched for in Spotlight for Mac OS X Yosemite.
