You could try backing up and restoring the iPad as new - you would then need to re-download any apps you want.

It's a reset to factory default condition with your iTunes program (and not simply an erase on your iOS device). Be sure to always do your backups, and an iTunes backup is preferred because it's complete and the iCloud backup is not and has some thongs left out (see the tech notes on it).
