Oct 28, 2014 4:03 PM in response to Loner Tby rubby0913,Hi, Toner, When I try to re-intall the mac, it says the u disk needs an GUID partition. So I tried to return to the disk utility. By accident, I open a window by clicking the " startup disk..." option in the apple icon on the top left of screen.
In the window, title is "choose startup disk", with only one choice of Macintosh HD OS X , 10.10. can I just choose the disk and click the " restarting ....."
I have tried, it not works.
let's begion with re-installing the mac os x on U disk

Recovery/transformation command (? for help): h
WARNING! Hybrid MBRs are flaky and dangerous! If you decide not to use one,
just hit the Enter key at the below prompt and your MBR partition table will
be untouched.
