Podcast stream stops before end and plays next episode

iTunes Version 11.3.1.2

I have a problem when streaming podcasts in iTunes. I don't mind that the stream stops to rebuffer due to slow internet or disconnects,

however, instead of rebuffering/reconnecting and resuming the same podcast, iTunes decides to start the next episode in the list.

At least I can manually stop playing the wrong episode, click on the episode I was listening to,

and resume the podcast I was originally playing, but this is really irritating.

Is there any solutions available? Or could the developers please take a look at this?
