Oct 24, 2014 6:56 PM in response to Gilbert513by Star Traveler,Apple hasn't duped the larger majority of iPad 2 users who don't have a problem with iOS 8.1. And for the large number of iPad 2 users who initially had problems and then fixed them, without Apple changing anything ... Apple didn't dupe them. And then there are all the new owners of the iPad 2, getting them from Apple's online store, today. Apple is not duping them, because they offer a two-year warranty with them.
It seems that someone has "duped you" into thinking Apple is duping people ... LOL ...
What you need to do is what many others have done, and that is to reset your iPad to factory default condition by using your iTunes program. And ... don't forget your backups.
