How to export and import Playlists in iTunes 12?
After installing iTunes 12 on a Windows 7 PC, I can not find the option to export or import the Playlist that I have created. Does anyone know where to do this in the new iTunes. Thanks!

I think I had the same problem. Some of my older playlists (from iTunes 9 or 10-ish) were looking for the tracks/music using the path, "iTunes: Music:"
So I exported a playlist from the older iTunes (luckily I still have that computer) as a .txt file and tried updating the path from "iTunes:Music: to "iTunes Media:Music" in Text editor using the "Find and Replace" option under "Edit."
Bang! It worked.
Use Alt or Ctrl+B to reveal the menu bar if needed.
File > Library > Export Playlist...
File > Library > Import Playlist...

Yes what you explained is how it worked in past versions, but in iTunes 12, the options from File->Library to Export and/or Import are not there. That's why I'm asking where are they in version 12 or are they missing.
Thanks!
What turingtest2 neglected to mention is that you have to make sure the Menu Bar is not hidden. Click on the left hand corner box, at the bottom of the list is where you turn on the menu bar. Can't see the trees...really, some people.
Use Alt or Ctrl+B to reveal the menu bar if needed.

Yes but this only allows .xml output. when bringing xml into EXCEL it's just text lines. I want the old .csv format. I use these to log which songs I've burnt to CDs and which are not. I also .csv format to load into my CD label printing program.
Anyone know how to save in .csv or even EXCEL format?
There are four output options; .txt, .xml, .m3u, and .m3u8. Use the save as type option to choose. The .txt version is a tab separated output which can be imported to Excel.
If you want more control over what is exported I have a script called ExportCSV that you can adapt to your needs.

Currently regretting upgrading to iTunes 12. Lost all my Playlists from previous libraries. Was never a problem before. Agh!
