Q: Anyone else sick of seeing the coloured beach ball ?

Yosemite seems to be really slow doing almost everything. I am sick of seeing the coloured beach ball. Hope there is an update to improve this problem

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

I don’t see the beach ball.
What system mods to you have installed?
Anti-virus, clean up programs, optimizers, etc.?
