Q: How do I take IOS 8 off my I Pad 4?

I Do not know how to obtain more information except that I have an I Pad 4. I want to take IOS 8 off and go back to what I had before. Mt I Pad is freezing, won't allow me to open programs, I've lost programs, etc.
