ApplePay from iPad Air 2?

Have any of you been able to use ApplePay on an iPad Air 2 to buy something (meaning on-line, of course)?

I saw a description on YouTube, based upon the iPhone 6, that showed how to make an online purchase using the Target app. It mentioned a "ship" button, and I didn't see any such button on the iPad app.

I'm pretty sure this just means that the iPad app hasn't been updated to allow for ApplePay, since only a few iPads that have (on-line) ApplePay capability have shipped so far.

In the upper left (when you're in the App Store), it should say "iPad only." Change it to iPhone. iPhone apps can run on the iPad (with a smaller screen, you can tap "2x" in the lower right to increase the screen size), but I'm not sure that Apple Pay would work with that. I'll test it out.

"Target Ticket" is something else, not the official Target app.

The following apps have Apple Pay, as of now:

Apple Store

Target

Uber

OpenTable

Groupon

Print Studio

Fancy

Lyft

Panera Bread

Houzz Interior Design Ideas

Instacart

Spring

Staples

Hotel Tonight

Chairish

Indiegogo

Threadflip

LIFX

If any of these have universal apps (meaning they work across iPhone and iPad with a single app, as opposed to Target which has an iPhone version and separate iPad version), then they should support Apple Pay.

Good reply! I saw this list, essentially, in the latest "Tim Cook Show," as I jokingly call it (October 2014), where they announced the iPad Air 2, however, it's good to see a list, in searchable form, here on the discussions.

Interesting that Walgreens doesn't appear to be in that list, since thir retail stores take ApplePay NFC a at the POS.

Of the handful here that are of interest to me, none of them appear to have iPad ApplePay, other than the Apple Store, but hopefully that will change as apps get updated over time.
