Apple AU time stretch

quote from apple site:

"The Audio Units plug-in architecture allows plug-ins to be used across Mac OS X audio applications. Apple supplies several Audio Units in Mac OS X, including one that adjusts timing without affecting pitch and a matched pair that streams audio over a network."

does any one know where this 'time adjusting' AU resides?

Probably in the XCode 2 developer install - the same one that has the AU Lab.

It sounds like you are looking for AUNetSend and AUNetRecieve - they are AUGenerators. Not good for realtime ( i.e. Logic "tracks" ) - fine for just streaming something though.

i was curious about the "one that adjusts timing without affecting pitch"...

it's not in the developper tools.

i know the network ones, they're funkyish, so i hoped that the 'time aduster' was funky too.
