Q: typing wrong leters

I am unable to type in password to login window as its keying in extra letters ..i have restarted mac book in order to get rid of those extra letters and now I am screwed up.

Here's how to reset your password from two links:

Apple Article to reset the password for 10.6.8 and earlier, and 10.7 and later

No MacBook will run Classic. Not knowing what you are running I have given you both articles.
