Configuring Airport Express - No 'Music' tab in Airport Utility

So I recently purchased an Express (A1264) and I use an Extreme (the generation just prior to the latest I believe. n but not ac) I've been trying to figure out how to pair these and most of the Apple documentation seems out of date.

OS: 10.10

Airport Utility: 6.3.4

First the documentation calls to

Select the “Allow this network to be extended” checkbox.

Which does't exist, but it's now my understanding that all networks are extended by default?

Then it says to

Ensure that "Enable AirPlay/AirTunes" is checked in the AirPort Utility Music tab

but there is no Music Tab.

The Express goes through the bootup process (Green, then solid Amber and now flashing Amber) but it's not visible in Airport Utility, I don't see it on any iOS device either. It's not selectable via Airplay on iTunes or on my Apple TV.

Thoughts?

MBP 2.33, Mac OS X (10.5.2)
