How do I get the official Yosemite desktop background?

I upgraded to Yosemite, but after all was installed & my MacBook Pro restarted, I'm still getting the Mavericks desktop background. All else looks like Yosemite, so it appears that the upgrade was successful. Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea how to get the cool Yosemite wallpaper? The update added 3 new images of the park in my desktop pictures folder, but none of them is the closeup of Half Dome wreathed in clouds that's the official image for Yosemite.

MacBook Pro (15-inch Late 2008), OS X Yosemite (10.10)

OS X does not mess around with your desktop picture.

You can set it here

System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Apple > Desktop Pictures

Click on your right mouse button somewhere on the desktop. Choose change desktop background and you'll find it in one of the wallpaper-folders.

Thanks, but the closeup view of half dome isn't in my Desktop Pictures folder. I'm looking for the image that's on the Yosemite page on apple.com.

Yep. Same problem here. When I open System Preferences the Desktop and Screensaver Preference Pane won't open. Control clicking on desktop will not load the pic as it takes me to the Pref crash again. A strange one, but must be a simple conflict somewhere. Works fine with a new user account but not in Safe Mode.

I found it by clicking System Preferences, Desktop and Screensaver, then at the very top it says Apple and the top folder is called Desktop Pictures--that is where I found it.

Not here. Desktop and Screensaver pretences do not open at all.
