Using Sony PHA-1 with iOS 8

Recently purchased an iPhone6 running iOS 8.1. My Sony PHA-1 external headphone amplifier no longer functions. Is anyone else having this problem; if so, have they found any means of getting it to play audio from iPhone6/iOS 8? Thanks.
