Apr 8, 2015 9:22 PM in response to 2012FitFanby droid-apple,This is really good news. I haven't heard any pop yet either. I'm feeling so grateful right now. So glad I didn't exchange my Air 2. I will continue to update.

Looking good here as well, droid-Apple.
I've been pounding on this thing. Testing, actual continued usage and even more testing. No popping noises. Keyboard clicks and lock sounds have been set to ON since update. I would have gotten a pop by now and nothing! I believe it's solved, but I will be sure to continue updating this thread no matter what happens.
LIke you, I'm glad I didnt exchange it.

It's a great tablet. Second day of heavy usage on 8.3 and no pops to report.
Once again, I've tried to replicate the pop via Spotlight during the day and nothing. Looking darn good!

Apr 9, 2015 10:19 PM in response to psikofunksterby Morac,I haven't had any pops since updating to iOS 8.3, but I need to give it a good week before declaring it fixed as I've had pop free days from time to time and haven't been using it that heavily.

Apr 10, 2015 1:13 AM in response to Moracby Air8,So far it looks promising but it is too early for a final judgement. I had no pops for almost a week after the iOS 8.2 update before it started again.
If my unit still doesn't pop in a month I'd be convinced something substantially has changed. -
Apr 10, 2015 3:52 AM in response to Air8by sergiov24,Bought Ipad Air 2 last saturday and went yesterday to replace it because a strange noise when using apps or scrolling screen up&down, like a cpu or processor fan working. Had pop sound issue and vibration when listening music and videos but doesn't cares to me.
Costumer replaced for a new one as she said that this noise weren't normal. This new one had a light leakage and replaced too, had another at same time and replaced because of dead pixel. Last one seems to be fine but had the fan sound too, went to iOS 8.3 today and had pop noise.
Regards,
Sergio

What's really promising is, I can't get it to pop using the Spotlight method that you posted. On 8.2, my brother and I were both able to make it pop like clockwork using that method you posted. We can't get to pop this way now, no matter how much we try.
I also can't make it pop sliding ringer/alerts up and down. I could always get it popping that way as well. Something has definitely changed.
Still no pops here. Still have keyboard clicks and lock sounds ON. Still very happy.

Apr 10, 2015 4:56 PM in response to Moracby Morac,Well I got my first pop under 8.3 when opening an app. They seem to be happening less often, but they haven't been eliminated.

Nothing here yet.
What app was it?

Apr 10, 2015 6:56 PM in response to Moracby ZikaRajko,That's unfortunate. . Can you recall if it was the regular keyboard sound pop or the infamous static like pop? My guess is that the keyboard sound bug was fixed in 8.3 but I don't know about the other one. That sound cant be provoked and it usualy happened after some time of inactivity. Right now everyone affected is probably trying to make it pop

I was easily able to provoke the "static like pop" sound in 8.2 by revealing the Spotlight keyboard several times in a row. Every 5-10 swipes up and down on the home screen provoked a static pop. My brother was able to do this on his Air 2.
My brother and I can no longer get our tablets to pop this way or any other way..
It definitely wasn't a keyboard click. It was a robust snap/pop type sound. Definitely an annoying sound.
