Apr 10, 2015 9:36 PM in response to Moracby psikofunkster,Well it was good while it lasted, 3 people already reporting the pops i assume for the rest of us it's just a question of time.
Mine hasn't pop yet but i haven't given it the chance to do it either, i performed a clean ios 8.3 installation today so...
Can we give them that at least (i guess) they are trying to fix it? 'm not satisfied of course 6 months have already passed...
I was thinking about exchanging this for an ipad air 3 as soon as it gets available and paying the difference but to be sincere, if they can't fix this i can easily bet ipad air 3 is gonna pop too and if not pretty sure its gonna have other "issues". I'm just tired of all this. These faulty toys are more expensive than a refrigerator...not nice.

Apr 10, 2015 10:16 PM in response to Garth1988by psikofunkster,For the guys popping: have you tried to restore to factory settings? i know maybe it won't solve it but maybe yes.
Mine had always popped at 96% when clicking the safari address bar but now it doesn't.

Apr 11, 2015 12:08 AM in response to Garth1988by 11th Doctor,I have an iPad Air and had a similar problem. My speaker would be working, pop, then make no sounds at all. I wound up exchanging it.

I've been using mine constantly since updating to 8.3. I was streaming the Masters golf tournament yesterday for hours and receiving notifications, while surfing in another Safari tab. Going back and forth most of the day. Still nothing to report here.

i am still getting the pop sound on 8.3
When is it happening? Apps, notifications, keyboard clicks, etc?
Folks still getting the pop should post up more details. This way folks who are no longer experiencing this issue can test on their devices.

Happened after I sent a Skype message
Thanks. I haven't used Skype in awhile.
I just reinstalled it and chatted with my son. Nothing yet, but I will continue to test it over the next week.

Apr 11, 2015 9:54 AM in response to ukheatherby EhsanGL,I Was always getting pop noise when battery charge level was below 40%. I updated to 8.3 and reset the device to factory settings (general>reset>erase all content...). I reinstalled all my apps and tested the device for 2 days and battery level was always below 40%. I haven't heard pop sound anymore.

Apr 11, 2015 10:16 AM in response to Garth1988by TheTreeFrog,The recent posts about 8.3 curing the problem seem promising. I've intentionally not been charging mine over 75% but I'll give it a full charge tonight and see how I get on.
I do hope that it's cured as it has really ruined my enjoyment of the iPad. The popping always catches me off guard when I least expect it and it is sometimes quite alarming. I do however wonder if there is more than one problem being experienced by people in this thread. In my case, my problem corresponds with the one on many youtube videos linked in this thread and 99% of the time will be when I open the keyboard. However, as far as I know, I've never lost sound as some have experienced.
If I had to explain what it sounds and feels like, in my case, I would tell somebody to wrap an elastic band around the iPad, pull the band about 5 inches away from the back of the iPad and let it go so that it snaps back against the back of the iPad. That's exactly what is sounds and feels like to me.
Good luck to everybody and I'll come back and let you know how I get on.

Well thought out post.
There very well could be two issues. I've read posts where folks have lost sound. I never lost sound. Just an annoying snap pop. It was was always tied into the keyboard or a notification received with the keyboard active.
Since I was able to replicate it on 8.2 with Spolight and can't do the same on 8.3, I'm betting some software adjustment was made in this update.
I think you're on to something, in regards to the possibility of two separate issues.

Apr 11, 2015 3:03 PM in response to psikofunksterby droid-apple,2012FitFan and psickofunkster how are your ipads? Haven't heard a pop with mine. Finger still crossed hoping that it won't come back. Those with the pop after 8.3 update could have another problem with the device.

Nothing here my friend. I've been pounding it good and doing it all on my Air 2.
