Q: iPad air 2 pop noise

My iPad Air 2 randomly has a "Pop Noise" out of the speaker. it happens randomly about once or twice a day when touching the screen or pressing a button. Has anybody else experienced this issue? Could it be a software issue or has it more likely to do with the hardware?

iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 8.1

    Any more confirmations that all is well with 8.4 with regard to the pop noise?

    All is just fine in iPad land.  And the fact there have been zero posts on this, since 8.4 landed says it all......

    ALthough I haven't had a pop since the update that solved the problem, in the last couple of weeks I have had a buzzing sound that is hard to explain.

     

    I had it once, soon after release date and it had never happened again until now. It's hard to explain other than a loud 1 second buzz.

     

    Unlike the pop that in most cases occurred when the virtual keyboard was opened, this buzz is totally random and doesn't appear to be instigated by the keyboard or the battery level. It just happens randomly.

     

    Sadly, I am once again in the situation where I would not want to sell my iPad on as imo it is faulty.
