Q: iPad air 2 pop noise

Hello, new to the community! In my case, I first get these popping sounds and then I lose the sound completely. Then, I slowly regain a really distorted sound but at the end it just disappears again. My iPad has had no sound since last night. Restarted the device like 10-15 times but nope! Headphone doesn't work either.

Make an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar.  Sounds like you have a defective iPad, which should be replaced.   Make sure you back up your device before your scheduled appointment.

The first thing they are gonna tell you is to perform a clean restoration, you should try that first, usually useless but maybe it will work for you.

Thanks, it started to work normally after the 16th restart, but this is like the 3rd or 4th time this has happened, so a replacement is neccessary I guess. But the question is, will that actually solve my problems? From what I've seen here, it won't be for sure :/

You can't use this thread as a basis to determine how well Air 2 is working in the hands of most users.  Visiting here is like going to a hospital and believing everyone in the world is sick.

There are surely millions of Air 2's out now and there are surely many who are happily using theirs without any issue.  I'm one of them for sure.

As I said a few days back, walk into a hall of mirrors and say "My iPad 2 Air makes a popping noise"....and everyone agrees with you .... It's a sheep flocking thing...

It's just that it's really hard to get a Genius Bar appointment here. They make them available at midnight, and they're all gone in 5 mins. Some try to get one for weeks, yet unable to succeed. I just hope I'll solve this problem after all that effort

Trouble is for the best part they are not genious... It's just Apples way of controlling the market...and we buy it hook line and sinker... Fishing term

yeah hard to know cause your issue is pretty more serious than a pop. Why don't you chat online with Apple?

Also i'd open a new thread cause your problem is different you are getting distorted and losing sound. Here we only have pops.

Yep, mine hasn't done anything out of the ordinary since I got it as a replacement last week.

Yup, that is pretty much my case. It's just horrible and extremely annoying. Thanks for the video!

MY Question is WHY APPLE DON'T say Something for this problem?

Sorry but now for me Apple it's awful corp.
